About Our Writers/Editors
Our website is run by Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) who have studied food and nutrition extensively and passed the National Registration Examination for Dietitians. They perform a minimum of 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years to keep current with the latest information. Both writers/editors have studied the science of nutrition and health at the graduate level and earned Master of Public Health (MPH) degrees as well as several health and nutrition certificates.
Our writers/editors have published research studies in peer-reviewed journals and college textbooks. They are skilled at evaluating the reliability of studies and interpreting research findings. You can view publications by Kate Ingram MPH, RDN here [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7] and by Pam (Rondano) Hartnett MPH, RDN here [1, 2, 3].

About Our Research and Editing Process
When compiling information we use only research published in peer-reviewed medical journals, from academic institutions, or from health-focused government agencies, such as the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
We work together to edit all blog posts to ensure that they are accurate, easy to understand, and helpful. Articles are reviewed periodically to ensure they contain the most relevant and up-to-date information.
