Kate and Pam are Registered Dietitian Nutritionists who met in grad school and bonded over their love of research and desire to live their healthiest, most vibrant lives.  One day, while swapping tips and hacks for aging with vitality, they decided to share their science-based strategies with the world.  And thus a blog was born!

Pam Hartnett MPH, RDN

Pam Hartnett MPH, RDN is a writer, teacher, and nutrition counselor on a mission to empower others to live their healthiest, most vibrant lives. Pam has extensive experience in research, creating and implementing wellness programs, nutrition coaching, and teaching at the college level.

In 2010 Pam was diagnosed with an incurable lymphoma, which is a cancer of the immune system.  Navigating the healthcare system with an incurable diagnosis brought many challenges and led to her interest in Functional Nutrition and Food as Medicine.  Having long outlived her initial prognosis, and thriving rather than just surviving, Pam is passionate about sharing her expertise and personal experience with as many people as possible.

Kate Ingram, MPH, RDN, RYT-500

Kate Ingram MPH, RDN, RYT-500 has substantial experience in nutrition communications, research, and medical writing.  Kate has worked in all forms of media to promote nutrition and wellness, and is dedicated to elevating the lives of others by providing useful, achievable advice in an easy-to-understand format.

Having struggled for years with chronic back pain, Kate discovered the benefits of yoga while searching for solutions, and she never turned back.  She became certified to teach in 2016 and currently teaches private classes.  Kate enthusiastically embraces every opportunity to share her expertise in nutrition and yoga, striving to help people live healthier, more balanced lives.
